Bitcoin (BTC) continued its upward trajectory on Monday, surpassing the $106,000 milestone. The leading cryptocurrency experienced a 1.2% gain in the last 24 hours and a 0.9% increase for the week, pushing its market capitalization above $2.1 trillion.

Ethereum (ETH) demonstrated even stronger performance, climbing 3.6% over the same 24-hour period to reach $2,622.75. Investor interest fueled a 5.2% rise in the asset's value throughout the week. A trading volume exceeding $16 billion positions Ethereum as a key driver in the ongoing altcoin recovery.

Solana (SOL) followed suit with a remarkable 7.2% surge in the last 24 hours, reaching a market price of $156.79. Its weekly performance was also positive, registering a 4.1% gain, and boasting a market capitalization of $82.7 billion. The increased trading volume indicates robust support from both retail and institutional investors.

Altcoin Movers Show Split Performance Despite Upward Push

XRP (XRP) saw a modest 1.5% increase in the last 24 hours, reaching $2.18. However, a weekly loss of 2.3% suggests mixed market sentiment. Trading activity remained consistent, with a volume exceeding $1.5 billion. BNB (BNB) also experienced slight growth, trading at $654.26 after a 0.6% daily rise.

Dogecoin (DOGE) edged up 1.1% to $0.1778 in the past 24 hours, but its weekly decline of approximately 2% underscores ongoing selling pressure. TRON (TRX) recorded the most significant decline among major coins, dropping to around $1.1 and ending the week with a 4.6% decrease.

Among tokens exhibiting notable gains in the broader market were Kled AI (KLED), which rose 32.4% to $0.03287. Marinade (MNDE) surged 33.3% to $0.1627, while Housecoin (HOUSE) increased 28.8%, supported by a substantial $23 million trading volume. Araracoin (ARARA) and Rei (REI) also showed significant growth, increasing by 29.3% and 27.4%, respectively.

Altcoin Sentiment Recovers as Ethereum and Solana Take the Lead

The overall cryptocurrency market reflects a growing shift toward altcoins. Ethereum (ETH) and Solana (SOL) have emerged as frontrunners in this recovery, partially offsetting losses experienced by XRP (XRP), Dogecoin (DOGE), and TRON (TRX).
