We arrived in Madrid from Salamanca by RENFE train 🇪🇸 and began the tour at the Príncipe Pío station, entering directly into the rhythm of the city. We stayed at the Hotel Regente, right on Gran Vía, one of the most iconic areas of Madrid, perfect for getting around walking around the center. We visit key places such as Gran Vía, Calle del Arenal and the Teatro Real, until we reach the imposing Royal Palace of Madrid, where we visit its most important rooms such as the Hall of Columns, the Royal Chapel, the Gasparini Hall, the Porcelain Room and the Gala Dining Room. We continued towards the Almudena Cathedral, right in front of the Palace, and then we walked through Plaza de Oriente and the streets of the historic center. We stopped to eat at La Paradita Tapas Bar trying chicken skewers and potato omelette, a simple but very local stop. As night falls, Madrid changes completely. We walked through Preciados, Callao and Gran Vía, and finished with live music at Sala Mon, watching Miki González and the city's nightlife.
