How do Germans get to work? In this 48-minute episode of Sprachkumpel, Lina and Tobias simply talk: one long, natural conversation in slow, clear German (A2–B1) about trains, buses, tickets and the daily commute. No word lists, just everyday German the way people really speak it. You'll hear the most famous sentence of the Berlin S-Bahn ("Wegen einer Signalstörung…"), how to buy a ticket and what the Deutschlandticket is, what happens at a ticket check, the announcements ("Zurückbleiben, bitte!", "Ausstieg in Fahrtrichtung rechts"), missed connections and the long word everyone hates, "Schienenersatzverkehr". Then the bus stop button ("Wagen hält"), manners in the quiet zone of the train, traffic jams and car pools, asking the way, snow and summer heat, working from home and getting home at night. At the end, a whole commute is told again, a little faster, so you can hear how much you understand. Halfway through, our segment "Verdutzt!": your new boss sits down next to you on the morning train. Du or Sie? ⏱️ CHAPTERS: 0:00 – Late Again? Tobias and the S-Bahn 2:56 – How Do You Get to Work?
