South Korea's two largest cryptocurrency exchanges, Upbit and Bithumb, have seen a notable increase in trading volume over the last 24 hours.
The market was buoyed by local investors trading heavily, particularly in certain altcoins. Hundreds of millions of dollars in total volume were recorded.
ZEROBASE (ZBT) topped Upbit with $359 million in volume and attracted $15 million on Bithumb. XRP ranked second on both exchanges, maintaining the interest of Korean investors with a total volume of $243 million.
