Bitcoin Shows 1.11% Kimchi Premium in Korean Market on October 7

As of 12:00 AM KST on October 7, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 177.57 million KRW on South Korea’s Upbit exchange, up 0.31% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 175.62 million KRW, resulting in a price gap of 1.95 million KRW and a Kimchi Premium of 1.11%.

Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, recorded a 1.01% Kimchi Premium. Other major altcoins also displayed similar premiums: Solana (SOL) at 1.04%, XRP (XRP) at 1.15%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 0.99%, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) at 1.35%. Most top altcoins are currently trading with a premium in the 0.9% to 1.3% range.
