Bitcoin Shows 1.14% Kimchi Premium in Korean Market on October 2

As of 12:00 AM KST on October 2, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 166.28 million KRW on South Korea’s Upbit exchange, up 2.12% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 164.41 million KRW, resulting in a price gap of 1.87 million KRW and a Kimchi Premium of 1.14%.

Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, recorded a Kimchi Premium of 1.21%. Other major altcoins also displayed notable premiums: Solana (SOL) at 1.24%, XRP (XRP) at 1.30%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 1.19%, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) at 0.92%. Most top altcoins are currently trading with a premium in the 0.9% to 1.3% range.
