Bitcoin Shows 1.39% Kimchi Premium in Korean Market on October 6

As of 12:00 AM KST on October 6, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 175.43 million KRW on South Korea’s Upbit exchange, up 0.27% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 173.02 million KRW, resulting in a price gap of 2.41 million KRW and a Kimchi Premium of 1.39%.

Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, recorded a 1.34% Kimchi Premium. Other major altcoins also displayed notable premiums: Solana (SOL) at 1.41%, XRP (XRP) at 1.46%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 1.63%, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) at 1.41%. Most top altcoins are currently trading with a premium in the 1.3% to 1.6% range.
