Bitcoin Shows 1.63% Kimchi Premium in Korean Market on September October 5

As of 12:00 AM KST on October 5, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 174.51 million KRW on South Korea’s Upbit exchange, up 0.60% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 171.71 million KRW, resulting in a price gap of 2.8 million KRW and a Kimchi Premium of 1.63%.

Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, recorded a 1.52% Kimchi Premium. Other major altcoins also displayed notable premiums: Solana (SOL) at 1.68%, XRP (XRP) at 1.65%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 1.56%, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) at 1.41%. Most top altcoins are currently trading with a premium in the 1.4% to 1.7% range.
