Bitcoin Shows 1.98% Kimchi Premium in Korean Market on September 23

As of 12:00 AM KST on September 23, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 160.48 million KRW on South Korea’s Upbit exchange, down 0.57% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 157.37 million KRW, resulting in a price gap of 3.11 million KRW and a Kimchi Premium of 1.98%.

Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, recorded a Kimchi Premium of 2.01%. Other major altcoins also displayed notable premiums: Solana (SOL) at 2.14%, XRP (XRP) at 2.09%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 2.21%, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) at 2.00%. Most top altcoins are currently trading with a premium in the 2.0% to 2.2% range.
