Bitcoin Shows 0.20% Kimchi Premium in Korean Market on August 28

As of 12:00 AM KST on August 28, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 156.40 million KRW on South Korea's Upbit exchange, down 0.17% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 156.09 million KRW, resulting in a price gap of 310,000 KRW and a Kimchi Premium of 0.20%.

Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, showed a Kimchi Premium of 0.17%. Other major altcoins also displayed premiums: Solana (SOL) at 0.12%, XRP (XRP) at 0.16%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 0.36%, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) at 0.48%. Most top altcoins are currently trading with a premium in the 0.1% to 0.4% range.
