Bitcoin Shows 2.06% Kimchi Premium in Korean Market on October 9

As of 12:00 AM KST on October 9, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 177.63 million KRW on South Korea’s Upbit exchange, up 1.24% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 174.04 million KRW, resulting in a price gap of 3.59 million KRW and a Kimchi Premium of 2.06%.

Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, recorded a 2.05% Kimchi Premium. Other major altcoins also displayed notable premiums: Solana (SOL) at 2.04%, XRP (XRP) at 2.05%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 2.03%, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) at 2.39%. Most top altcoins are currently trading with a premium in the 2.0% to 2.3% range.
