Bitcoin Shows 0.27% Kimchi Premium in Korean Market on August 31

As of 12:00 AM KST on August 31, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 151.29 million KRW on South Korea’s Upbit exchange, down 0.64% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 150.88 million KRW, resulting in a price gap of 410,000 KRW and a Kimchi Premium of 0.27%.

Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, recorded a Kimchi Premium of 0.21%. Other major altcoins also displayed notable premiums: Solana (SOL) at 0.34%, XRP (XRP) at 0.20%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 0.42%, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) at 0.27%. Most top altcoins are currently trading with a premium in the 0.2% to 0.4% range.
