Bitcoin Shows 3.12% Kimchi Premium in Korean Market on October 29

As of 12:00 AM KST on October 29, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 170.2 million KRW on South Korea’s Upbit exchange, up 0.72% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 165.04 million KRW, resulting in a price gap of 5.16 million KRW and a Kimchi Premium of 3.12%.

Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, recorded a Kimchi Premium of 3.23%. Other major altcoins also reflected similar premiums: Solana (SOL) at 3.26%, XRP (XRP) at 3.23%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 3.16%, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) at 3.62%. Most top altcoins are currently trading with a premium in the 3.1% to 3.6% range.
