Bitcoin Shows 3.02% Kimchi Premium in Korean Market on October 27

As of 12:00 AM KST on October 27, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 168.4 million KRW on South Korea’s Upbit exchange, up 1.25% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 163.47 million KRW, resulting in a price gap of 4.93 million KRW and a Kimchi Premium of 3.02%.

Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, recorded a Kimchi Premium of 2.90%. Other major altcoins also showed notable premiums: Solana (SOL) at 2.86%, XRP (XRP) at 2.92%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 3.19%, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) at 3.18%. Most top altcoins are currently trading with a premium in the 2.8% to 3.1% range on October 27.
