Bitcoin Shows 3.02% Kimchi Premium in Korean Market on October 28

As of 12:00 AM KST on October 28, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 169.62 million KRW on South Korea’s Upbit exchange, up 0.06% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 164.64 million KRW, resulting in a price gap of 4.98 million KRW and a Kimchi Premium of 3.02%.

Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, recorded a Kimchi Premium of 2.89%. Other major altcoins also showed similar premiums — Solana (SOL) at 3.05%, XRP (XRP) at 2.88%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 3.23%, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) at 2.60%. Most top altcoins are currently trading with a premium between 2.6% and 3.2% in the Korean market.
