Bitcoin Shows 0.39% Kimchi Premium in Korean Market on September 5

As of 12:00 AM KST on September 5, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 153.27 million KRW on South Korea's Upbit exchange, down 1.04% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 152.68 million KRW, resulting in a price gap of 590,000 KRW and a Kimchi Premium of 0.39%.

Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, recorded a Kimchi Premium of 0.47%. Other major altcoins also displayed notable premiums: Solana (SOL) at 0.41%, XRP (XRP) at 0.45%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 0.70%, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) at 0.45%. Most top altcoins are currently trading with a premium in the 0.4% to 0.7% range.
