Bitcoin Shows 0.41% Kimchi Premium in Korean Market on August 29

As of 12:00 AM KST on August 29, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 157.32 million KRW on South Korea's Upbit exchange, up 1.15% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 156.68 million KRW, resulting in a price gap of 640,000 KRW and a Kimchi Premium of 0.41%.

Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, recorded a Kimchi Premium of 0.41%. Other major altcoins also displayed moderate premiums: Solana (SOL) at 0.35%, XRP (XRP) at 0.36%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 0.27%, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) at 0.71%. Most top altcoins are currently trading with a premium in the 0.2% to 0.7% range.
