Bitcoin Shows 4.56% Kimchi Premium in Korean Market on November 1

As of 12:00 AM KST on November 1, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 165.5 million KRW on South Korea’s Upbit exchange, up 0.75% from the previous day. On the global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 158.28 million KRW, resulting in a price gap of 8.3 million KRW and a Kimchi Premium of 4.56%.

Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, recorded a 4.67% Kimchi Premium. Other major altcoins also showed similar levels of premium: Solana (SOL) at 4.58%, XRP (XRP) at 4.61%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 4.67%, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) at 4.57%. Most top altcoins are currently trading with premiums in the 4.5% to 4.7% range in the Korean market.
