Bitcoin Shows 4.67% Kimchi Premium in Korean Market on October 24

As of 12:00 AM KST on October 24, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 164.89 million KRW on South Korea’s Upbit exchange, up 1.07% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 157.53 million KRW, resulting in a price gap of 7.36 million KRW and a Kimchi Premium of 4.67%.

Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, recorded a Kimchi Premium of 4.78%. Other major altcoins also showed strong premiums: Solana (SOL) at 4.73%, XRP (XRP) at 4.68%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 4.85%, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) at 4.29%. Most top altcoins are currently trading with premiums in the 4.2% to 4.8% range.
