Bitcoin Shows 5.39% Kimchi Premium in Korean Market on October 23

As of 12:00 AM KST on October 23, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 163.98 million KRW on South Korea’s Upbit exchange, up 0.35% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 155.58 million KRW, resulting in a price gap of 8.4 million KRW and a Kimchi Premium of 5.39%.

Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, recorded a Kimchi Premium of 5.44%. Other major altcoins also displayed notable premiums: Solana (SOL) at 5.36%, XRP (XRP) at 5.49%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 5.53%, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) at 5.92%. Most top altcoins are currently trading with a premium in the 5.3% to 5.9% range.
