Bitcoin Shows 0.72% Kimchi Premium in Korean Market on August 30

As of 12:00 AM KST on August 30, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 151.6 million KRW on South Korea’s Upbit exchange, down 3.28% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 150.52 million KRW, resulting in a price gap of 1.08 million KRW and a Kimchi Premium of 0.72%.

Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, is currently showing a 0.79% Kimchi Premium. Other major altcoins are also trading at higher premiums: Solana (SOL) at 0.68%, XRP (XRP) at 0.67%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 0.91%, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) at 0.72%. Most top altcoins are reflecting a premium in the 0.6% to 0.9% range.
