Bitcoin Shows 0.73% Kimchi Premium in Korean Market on August 26

As of 12:00 AM KST on August 26, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 157.2 million KRW on South Korea's Upbit exchange, down 0.26% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 156.06 million KRW, resulting in a price gap of 1.14 million KRW and a Kimchi Premium of 0.73%.

Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, showed a Kimchi Premium of 0.77%. Other major altcoins also displayed notable premiums: Solana (SOL) at 0.81%, XRP (XRP) at 0.72%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 0.91%, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) at 0.58%. Most top altcoins are currently trading with premiums in the 0.5% to 0.9% range.
