Bitcoin Shows 7.03% Kimchi Premium in Korean Market on October 13

As of 12:00 AM KST on October 13, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 171.8 million KRW on South Korea’s Upbit exchange, up 0.83% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 160.52 million KRW, resulting in a price gap of 11.28 million KRW and a Kimchi Premium of 7.03%.

Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, recorded a Kimchi Premium of 6.87%. Other major altcoins also showed similar levels: Solana (SOL) at 7.07%, XRP (XRP) at 7.04%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 6.98%, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) at 6.83%. Most top altcoins are currently trading with a premium in the 6.8% to 7.1% range.
