Bitcoin (BTC) Price Hits a New All-Time High Above $110,000

Crypto markets are surging early Thursday, with Bitcoin hitting a new all-time high above $110,000 amid accelerating institutional adoption and robust ETF inflows.

What Happened: Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) rose 1.6% over the past 24 hours to $109,400. The world’s largest cryptocurrency had hit an intra-day high of $110,100.

Bitcoin is reporting only $1 billion in realized losses at the new all-time high, less than half the $2.1 billion seen when Bitcoin first crossed $100,000 in December, according to Glassnode data. This finding suggests that investors remain optimistic and are not taking significant profits at this juncture.

Crypto trader Jelle sees Bitcoin having a target of $180,000 while Trader Tardigrade says Bitcoin broke out of a key battleground between bulls and bears and the bulls are now fully in charge and have emerged victorious.

Dogecoin (CRYPTO: DOGE) is breaking out of a bull pennant, with Ali Martinez targeting $0.31.

Jelle remains confident in his Solana (CRYPTO: SOL) holdings, expecting a strong rally once it clears $250. He anticipates a surge to $400-$500 as “weak hands” have already been flushed out.

Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) is holding strong, but Jelle believes the real rally begins once it reclaims $3,000, which could trigger a broader market wave.

What's Next: Despite the impressive gains, crypto trader Jelle maintains a cautious outlook, advising against chasing the market too aggressively.

"No need to rush in and buy everything at once," Jelle said. "Take your time, observe the trends, and gradually build your portfolio."

He suggests focusing on a few promising altcoins and waiting for optimal entry points.

"I'm personally keeping an eye on Solana, which I think has the potential for a strong move once it breaks through the $250 resistance."

As for broader market trends, Jelle believes that a sustained break of $3,000 could pave the way for a broader crypto market rally.

"Once we see Ethereum comfortably above that level, and we start to see broader strength across the top 10 altcoins, then I think we'll really be in a bull market," he said.
