Bitcoin (BTC) continued its upward trajectory on Monday, surpassing $108,000 for the first time in recent weeks. While this isn't a new all-time high, it signifies a resurgence of optimism within the market and has stimulated increased trading activity.
BTC registered a 0.6% increase over the past 24 hours, with its market capitalization exceeding $2.16 trillion. Ethereum (ETH) followed suit with a 1.7% rise, reaching $2,565.49, supported by consistent demand across major exchanges.
Dogecoin (DOGE) emerged as the top performer among large-cap assets, surging by 5.0% to $0.1724. This notable surge was fueled by heightened trading volume and growing retail investor engagement, positioning DOGE as one of the most closely monitored tokens of the day.

Other prominent cryptocurrencies posted moderate gains. XRP increased by 1.2% to $2.26, while BNB (BNB) rose by 0.9% to trade at $661.36. Solana (SOL) recorded a 2.0% increase, reaching $151.18, sustaining its recent positive momentum.
Altcoins generally mirrored Bitcoin's performance, gaining traction as capital diversified across the market. Investor sentiment appeared to strengthen, bolstered by stable liquidity and technical support observed across various assets.
Mid-Cap Tokens Rally Amid Increased Speculative Activity
Several smaller-cap cryptocurrencies experienced significant gains, with Viction (VIC) leading the charge. VIC surged 82.7% to $0.279, supported by robust trading volume. Supra (SUPRA) climbed 34.6%, while Cobak (CBK) advanced 22.8% in a day characterized by broad altcoin strength.
International Meme Fund (IMF) gained 21.9%, rising to $1.01. MAGIC•INTERNET•MONEY (MIM) added 18.4%, completing the list of top performers. These movements indicate a growing appetite for higher-risk tokens as bullish sentiment permeates the market.
Bitcoin's rise above $108,000 indicates strengthened momentum, although it remains below its all-time high. Dogecoin spearheaded the market with a 5% increase, while altcoins across the board benefited from heightened interest and increased trading volume at the week's commencement.
