
Bitcoin traded at a 3.13% premium in South Korea on May 7th.
As of 12:00 AM KST on May 7th, Bitcoin (BTC) was priced at 133.94 million KRW on Upbit, a South Korean exchange, representing a 0.71% decrease from the previous day. On Binance, BTC was priced at 129.87 million KRW, creating a price difference of 4.07 million KRW and a resulting Kimchi Premium of 3.13%.
Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, also exhibited a 3.13% Kimchi Premium. Other major altcoins showed similar premiums: Solana (SOL) at 3.04%, XRP at 3.13%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 3.18%, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) at 3.01%. The majority of top altcoins traded within a 3.0% to 3.1% premium range.
