
Bitcoin's price rose in South Korea on May 2nd, exhibiting a 0.38% Kimchi Premium.
At 12:00 AM KST on May 2nd, Bitcoin (BTC) traded at 139.37 million KRW on Upbit, a 2.44% increase from the previous day. This compared to a price of 138.84 million KRW on Binance, creating a price difference of 530,000 KRW and the aforementioned 0.38% Kimchi Premium.
Ethereum (ETH) also showed a 0.38% Kimchi Premium. Other prominent altcoins displayed similarly small premiums: Solana (SOL) at 0.40%, XRP at 0.44%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 0.31%, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) at 0.46%.
