Interactive Brokers Expands Crypto Offerings to Include Four New Altcoins
Interactive Brokers, a leading brokerage firm, has announced the expansion of its cryptocurrency trading services. This follows increased White House attention toward Bitcoin and altcoins. The expansion includes support for four new altcoins: XRP, Solana (SOL), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Cardano (ADA).
The company already offers trading for Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin (LTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), and Ethereum (ETH). However, access to the newly added altcoins varies depending on the customer's custodial account provider: SOL, ADA, XRP, and DOGE are available to clients using Zero Hash LLC, while only SOL is currently offered to those using Paxos Trust Company.
"Adding these new altcoins gives our clients greater flexibility to diversify their portfolios and take advantage of opportunities in digital assets," stated Steve Sanders, Vice President of Marketing and Product Development at Interactive Brokers.
The firm highlights its competitive trading fees, ranging from 0.12% to 0.18% per trade, with a minimum fee of $1.75.
