The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has delayed its decision-making on the proposed rule change to list and trade shares of Bitwise Dogecoin ETF.

La Commission américaine des Securities and Exchange (SEC) a retardé sa prise de décision sur le changement de règle proposé pour répertorier et échanger les actions de Bitwise Dogecoin ETF.

According to the announcement by Sherry Haywood, the SEC’s assistant secretary, the agency has designated June 15, 2025 as the next date the commission will make its decision on the Bitwise Dogecoin ETF.

Selon l'annonce de Sherry Haywood, le secrétaire adjoint de la SEC, l'agence a désigné le 15 juin 2025 à la prochaine date de la commission prendra sa décision sur le FNB de Bitwise Dogecoin.

“The commission finds it appropriate to designate a longer period within which to take action on the proposed rule change so that it has sufficient time to consider the proposed rule change and the issues raised therein,” the announcement noted.

"La Commission juge appropriée de désigner une période plus longue dans laquelle prendre des mesures sur le changement de règle proposé afin qu'il ait suffisamment de temps pour examiner le changement de règle proposé et les questions qui y sont soulevées", a noté l'annonce.

Earlier this year, the SEC opened applications for spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs, setting an initial decision deadline of March 15, which was later pushed back to June 15. However, the SEC has now postponed its verdict on the proposed Bitwise listing of a Dogecoin ETF, originally set for April 15, to November 13, 2025.

This decision comes after the SEC delayed several crypto ETF products on Monday, including spot XRP and Dogecoin ETFs. According to James Seyffart, a senior ETF analyst at Bloomberg, the U.S. SEC will likely delay decisions for spot Solana (SOL) and Hedera (HBAR) this week.

Cette décision intervient après que la SEC a retardé plusieurs produits Crypto ETF lundi, notamment SPOT XRP et DOGECOIN ETF. Selon James Seyffart, analyste senior du FNB chez Bloomberg, la SEC américaine retardera probablement les décisions pour Spot Solana (Sol) et Hedera (HBAR) cette semaine.

However, Seyffart is of the opinion that the SEC, under the new leadership of Paul Atkins, will approve a bunch of spot crypto ETFs in the third quarter and before the final deadlines in mid-October.

Cependant, Seyffart est d'avis que la SEC, sous la nouvelle direction de Paul Atkins, approuvera un tas de FNB crypto spot au troisième trimestre et avant les délais finaux à la mi-octobre.
