Here are the teams that were in this video, as well as their moves and items for each difficulty setting, starting with the team that was used in Easy. P1 Team: Pikachu: Quick Attack, ThunderShock, Charge, DynamicPunch (Magnet) Meowth: Fake Out, Swagger, Fury Swipes, Water Pulse (Amulet Coin) COM Team: Dratini: Twister, Agility, Haze, Shock Wave (Dragon Fang) Sunkern: Sunny Day, SolarBeam, Helping Hand, Leech Seed (Miracle Seed) Then the teams for Normal difficulty. P1 Team: Golbat: Air Cutter, Poison Fang, Curse, Bite (Leftovers) Machoke: Karate Chop, Rock Tomb, Foresight, Encore (Scope Lens) COM Team: Rhyhorn: Rock Slide, Mud-Slap, Take Down, Protect (Quick Claw) Gloom: Sweet Scent, Sludge Bomb, Bullet Seed, Stun Spore (Lax Incense) Then the teams for Hard difficulty. P1 Team: Charizard: Flamethrower, Bite, Slash, Protect (Focus Band) Kingdra: Waterfall, DragonBreath, Rain Dance, Return (Sitrus Berry) COM Team: Machamp: Rolling Kick, Mega Punch, Rock Tomb, Encore (Quick Claw) Dodrio: Drill Peck, Tri Attack, Endeavor, Mud-Slap (Sitrus Berry) And last up, the teams for Ultimate difficulty. P1 Team: Jirachi: Psychic, Protect, Thunder, Doom Desire (Leftovers) Suicune: Rain Dance, Hydro Pump, Reflect, Mirror Coat (Quick Claw) COM Team: Articuno: Ice Beam, Water Pulse, Rain Dance, Sheer Cold (BrightPowder) Swampert: Muddy Water, Mud Shot, Mirror Coat, Ice Punch (Quick Claw) This video is where some new sets of Pokémon are put to test, and I did at first plan to do the 2 player mode, where you don't even need two players are you are controlling both sides of the battle, but decided against it due to how controlling both sides isn't as interesting as fighting the CPU opponent. Starting with the Easy team, and for this one, Meowth has Fake Out for an easy flinch at the start of the battle, and Pikachu is there to use Charge to boost the power of ThunderShock. I don't know why this Meowth is holding an Amulet Coin when it has no effect in battle. The COM team isn't too hard, Sunkern does have the Sunny Day and SolarBeam combo, but the COM team tends to not have the best AI, because I have seen the Dratini use Haze at the start of the fight when none of the Pokémon have any stat modifiers. The Normal team, I use a Golbat that knows Curse and a Machoke that has a Scope Lens to increase the critical hit rate of its moves, like Karate Chop. The COM team is one that depends on how the battle goes, Golbat does have the advantage against Gloom, while Machoke can beat Rhyhorn with Karate Chop, but the one thing to watch out for is Gloom's Stun Spore, and Rhyhorn's Rock Slide can deal super effective damage to Golbat. The Hard team is one where I get a team where one Pokémon's Ability hinders the other, in this case, Kingdra has Rain Dance to put Swift Swim to use, but the rain weakens Charizard's Flamethrower, so Rain Dance is more of a last resort with this team, or if I need to have Kingdra outspeed certain opponents. Not sure why this Charizard doesn't have a Flying-type move like Wing Attack or Aerial Ace, as that would give it a way to use its secondary STAB type, because its main move is weakened by the rain if I set that up. Then for the Ultimate team, and this one, I use the Suicune and Jirachi team, Suicune can set up the rain, and when active, Jirachi's Thunder will never miss. Doom Desire is there if I need to get off an attack after two turns, and this Suicune set is more for support, it can hit hard with Hydro Pump, and it has Mirror Coat to send back special moves. The COM team for this one can also make use of the rain, Articuno has Rain Dance, and this can power up Swampert's Muddy Water, and as it has Mirror Coat, I have to be careful about using special moves against it, but I find it weird how this Swampert has Mud Shot and not Earthquake, as it does have a Flying-type ally to put that to use.
