1 credit clear (1CC) of the 1st loop of Storm Blade. Played on March 20th 2026. using Fightcade/FBNeo. Default difficulty and DIPswitches. Autofire was used in this playthrough (15 Hz). Plane used: MiG-29A (Alex) Score: 1142520 No save states, no cheats, no slowdown or anything similar. 1CC challenge difficulty: 6/10 Relatively easy for a STG game. The only thing that you need to practice is the final stage and maybe a few bosses. Still, it's pretty jank and the bullets are insanely fast (Aero Fighters and Psikyo style) which often result in some cheap deaths. I got a clear already during my second play session. However, I went back and attempted a no miss (deathless), didn't work out and I'm not sure if I'm gonna be coming back to this game, outside of co-op. It's not a bad game overall. It has a built-in autofire option that can either be accessed either via hard DIPswitches or by inputting a code on startup (hold the Bomb button on the title screen while pressing Start and keep holding it while selecting the pilot character). However, I've used an external autofire because I wasn't aware of this at the time of the completion. The in-game autofire seems to be faster than 15 Hz which makes the boss battles a bit faster and easier.
