We got stuck in Italy… and this time it got serious 🇮🇹 After the car broke down again, we found ourselves back where we didn’t want to be — stranded in Mondragone, with no clear way forward. What should have been a quick fix turns into a long, confusing day at a local mechanic. A missing part. Mixed signals. And no real timeline. One moment it feels like it might be sorted… the next, we’re being told to come back tomorrow — or maybe the day after. We start asking the question we didn’t want to face: Do we wait… or risk driving a broken car further south? Because every day here means less time in Sicily. ⸻ In between the stress, something unexpected happens. We meet locals who pull us in, feed us, share drinks, and remind us why we started this journey in the first place. It’s chaotic. It’s frustrating. And at times, it feels like it’s all falling apart.
