In this video I perform a complete operation using Arc Network, the new blockchain created by Circle with fees in USDC and launched on the public mainnet in September 2026. Arc's proposal is quite different from many EVM networks: transaction fees are paid in USDC, that is, it is not necessary to hold ETH or another native token just to pay for gas. Circle also highlights the completion of transactions in less than a second and the network's focus on payments, financial markets, stablecoins and on-chain financial applications. In this video I show everything in practice, from leaving Coinbase to using Bitcoin as collateral in a DeFi protocol. 🔵 What I do in the video: I withdraw USDC from Coinbase via the Base network; I bridge USDC from Base to Arc; I show how using Arc Network works; I use Uniswap on Arc to make an exchange; I exchange USDC for cirBTC, Circle's tokenized Bitcoin; I deposit cirBTC on Aave, already within the Arc network; I use cirBTC as collateral to take out a loan in USDC; I show how this operation works within Aave V4 on Arc; Then I make my way back and send the USDC from Arc to the Base. Uniswap has been available on Arc since mainnet launch, supporting versions v2, v3, v4 and UniswapX. cirBTC is also available for trading on Uniswap within Arc. 🟠 What is Arc Network? Arc is a Layer 1 blockchain developed by Circle with a focus on financial infrastructure, stablecoins, payments, exchange, credit and on-chain financial applications. One of the main differentiators is precisely USDC as network gas. In practice, this means that the same asset used to move value can also be used to pay transaction fees. Additionally, Arc has native integration with the Circle ecosystem and was launched with several financial applications and protocols. Among the available applications are Uniswap, Aave, Morpho and Aerodrome, among others. ₿ What about cirBTC? In the video I also use cirBTC, an asset created by Circle that represents tokenized Bitcoin. According to documentation reviewed by Aave, cirBTC is a custodial Bitcoin wrapper, with each cirBTC intended to represent one BTC held in Circle's custody. The asset has an ERC-20 representation on Arc and can be used within the network's DeFi protocols. This allows you to do something interesting: BTC → cirBTC → Aave → USDC loan In other words, Bitcoin can be used as collateral within a DeFi lending protocol, without having to sell the asset. 💰 Arc + Uniswap + Aave One of the things I wanted to test in this video was precisely the composition of these protocols. The idea is to leave an exchange, take USDC to Arc, use a DEX to acquire tokenized Bitcoin and later use this Bitcoin as collateral in Aave to borrow USDC. Aave activated its V4 deployment on Arc on September 16, 2026, with USDC, EURC, cirBTC, and WETH available as assets since launch. This creates an interesting infrastructure to experiment with strategies involving Bitcoin, stablecoins, credit and DeFi within the same network. ⚠️ IMPORTANT: this video is educational in nature and shows an operation carried out in practice. DeFi involves risks, including smart contract risk, settlement risk, custody risk, stablecoin risk, bridge risk, and the risk of the protocols themselves. Just because an asset or protocol is available on Arc does not mean it is risk-free. 🔎 In this video you will find: Arc Network Arc Network mainnet Arc blockchain Arc Circle Circle Arc USDC on Arc USDC gas USDC as network fee Arc Network how it works Arc Network tutorial How to use Arc How to bridge to Arc Base to Arc USDC Base Uniswap Arc Uniswap on Arc cirBTC Tokenized Bitcoin Bitcoin DeFi BTC DeFi Aave Arc Aave V4 Arc Aave cirBTC Loan with Bitcoin Bitcoin as collateral USDC loan DeFi with Bitcoin Circle USDC Circle cirBTC DeFi 2026 Bitcoin and DeFi Bitcoin collateral stablecoin Ethereum DeFi EVM Layer 1 Blockchain finance If you are researching how Arc Network works and want to see a real use of the network, this video takes you all the way from Coinbase/Base to Uniswap → cirBTC → Aave → loan in USDC → return to Base.
