I got this bright little abandoned house — together with a dog kennel — practically for free. Everything inside has stood untouched for many years, and now it all belongs to me. Let's walk through the rooms and see what the previous owners left behind. The first room greets us with peeling wallpaper, a stove and an old washbasin. The next room holds the biggest surprise: gilded beads inside a sugar bowl and a pearl necklace in a creamer. The walls are covered with vivid tapestry carpets — deer, happy people, and women in the water around a boat. A story about mermaids? A black headscarf with bright flowers, a silk dress, a vintage bag, unfinished knitting still on the needles — the lady of the house clearly loved handicrafts.
