The streak is dead. Nine days of fund buying, $3 billion, over. $149 million walked out Wednesday. Inflation printed cool and the bond market shrugged. The 10-year touched 5.34% this morning, a number this market has not paid in 24 years. Bitcoin $84.7K, and I have a miss to eat. We tell you what we see, we own the mistake, and we call it. 🔧 🧾 GRADES — the miss first. Monday I gave you an $81.5K road and said a soft number makes it a miss. The number came in soft, Bitcoin never got within $1,000 of it. Three days, no touch. Miss, owned. What paid: Tuesday I said cool print and $85K is the door, but the pop is a sale unless the 10-year drops under 5.20%. Core PCE printed 0.2%, Bitcoin ran to $85.5K overnight, the 10-year went the other way, and the pop got sold to $83.1K. Paid as written. Quant's $200 line never tested, and QNT gave back 15% today from $306 to $249. "Don't buy Chainlink's third day" paid. Thursday's fund print was not posted at air, so no guess. 🔺 THE WHY — horsepower is what the headline says, torque is what moves the load. Quant up 300%, Citi lifting its Bitcoin target to $113K, and the load didn't move because the price of money is 5.3%. Brent back over $100, up 4%. Dollar at a two-month high. October hike odds fell from 50% to under 40% on the cool print and the market still wouldn't bid. Friday's jobs number is the next pull on the rope. 🏛️ THE SEC — proposed a custody rule today that lets registered advisers and mutual funds hold crypto directly, with state trust companies and limited self-custody. Not an ETF wrapper. Direct. The chairman says more proposals are coming. Congress killed the market structure bill, so the agency is writing the rules itself. Tomorrow Hester Peirce walks out, leaving two commissioners. 🏦 THE BUTTON — Fiserv, whose software runs the back office at thousands of community banks, turned on its digital asset platform today with the Bank of North Dakota moving a state-backed coin on Solana, issued and custodied by VersaBank, through Fireblocks. 90+ banks and credit unions already on it. The loan officer in Bismarck didn't buy a coin or download a wallet. Crypto showed up as a menu item. That is torque. Same week the ECB turned on a system that settles tokenized assets in central bank money with no public token in it. 💵 STRIPE PICKED A FIGHT — Open USD is now the default stablecoin on Tempo, with Coinbase, Mastercard, Shopify and Visa behind it and reserves at BlackRock and BNY. The reserve yield gets shared with partners instead of kept by the issuer. That is a shot at Circle. Defaults win over time. 🧾 REAL MONEY VS LOGO MONEY — Evernorth approved a $1B XRP treasury, listing on Nasdaq Oct 8 as XRPN. That is balance-sheet demand. The "Ripple dropped its appeal" posts are fake, no docket. Ethereum lost its staking-burn story, $2,705 and it shrugged. MetaMask is pulling ~17,000 validators from Lido after an infrastructure compromise, theft under $1,000, stakers need do nothing. 🤖 ENGINE ROOM — the chip is not the story. Micron printed $54B for the quarter, 87% gross margin, memory sold out, and Nvidia's next flagship reportedly ships with less of it. The bottleneck is memory and electricity. Models got cheap. The FTC opened a probe on rogue agents. California banned AI-only firing. ⛏️ TRIPLE X — Uniswap's fee-switch and 100M UNI burn vote closes Friday night, the only item on the board where volume turns into supply leaving by code. DoubleZero unlocked 1.6B tokens tonight, he waits to see where they go. Hedera's Nvidia tie was never in the announcement. 🎯 THE PLAY — Friday 5:30am PT, September jobs, consensus ~84K. Hot print near 150K puts the October hike back on, sends the 10-year back through 5.34%, and Bitcoin loses $82.5K, then $82.1K (20-day average), then $79.6K where $1.9B of longs liquidate. Cool print under 50K and $85.5K is the reclaim with $87.8K behind it, where $1.7B of shorts squeeze. Between the lines, do nothing. Ethereum $2,650 is the line. Grade me Friday night. 📊 GARAGE SCORE — Plumbing 9 | Macro 3 | Bitcoin 6 | Tokens 4 Just so we are clear: this is what we see, and it is absolutely not financial advice. That is the run. Let it rip. 🔥 #Bitcoin #BTC #Crypto #CryptoNews #BitcoinETF #ETFFlows #BondMarket #10YearTreasury #PCE #FederalReserve #RateHike #SEC #CryptoCustody #HesterPeirce #Fiserv #Solana #Stripe #OpenUSD #Tempo #Circle #USDC #Stablecoins #XRP #Evernorth #XRPN #Ethereum #Lido #Micron #Nvidia #Uniswap #UNI #Hedera #TripleX #JobsReport #TradingLevels #GarageScore #GuruCryptoGarage
