About the creator:

F.A. Chekki was born in New York, U.S.A., in 1977. He attended schools in New Hampshire and Colorado having attained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Colorado School of Law. He presently lives and works in the Dallas, TX, area, is married, and has three children. He has worked as an educator and attorney as well as in the financial services industry for 15 years; and he has more recently in his career pursued his passion of being a professional artist.

Moreover, the artist has a great love for history, especially ancient history and the medieval era. He is an active enthusiast for all things educational about the subject matter.

Following the birth of his first child, he realized that writing books for children and young people was his first passion before strictly visual arts. His focus in 2 published books was on children's literature that surrounds history and educational topics. He welcomes both young and old to enjoy reading his mysterious tales in these books that he illustrated: Netherworld Dreams and Young Plato and the cave. (Available on Amazon.com) From doing the art himself for those books F.A. discovered his greater passion in painting and sculpture as well as other 3D art. As an adolescents F.A. often dreamed of becoming an artist.

Following several years doing traditional art, much of which is surreal and fantasy, with a good “dab” of sci-fi, the artist has branched out. Although he is just taking a hiatus from his traditional art and current “Gnostros” long term fantasy city project in oils, F.A. saw the potential in NFTs as a new and revolutionary way of creating, selling, and promoting art.
