The crypto market is starting the week in the green as Bitcoin price jumped to $87k, setting a quick uptrend across the crypto industry. Following Bitcoin, leading altcoins like ETH, XRP and LINK have also surged over 3% in the past 24 hours.
Since the past two weeks, Bitcoin has been hovering near the $85k level with it facing key resistance against its upward trajectory. With this quick push above $87k, the further upstick has come into play and now several analysts are expecting it to climb above $90k ahead of the weekly opening.
At the time of writing, Bitcoin price is trading near $86,900 with a daily trading volume of $27.4 billion. It has surged 3.41% in the past 24 hours while marking a daily low of $84,028 and surging as high as $87,666 today.
ETH price has also spiked 3.46% to $1,629 quickly while XRP following the same route and currently trading at $2.21, up 3.38% in the past 24 hours. Chainlink’s LINK and Cardano’s ADA have also seen a significant push. The largest gainer among top 10 crypto assets is Dogecoin (DOGE) which has surged 5.22% in the past 24 hours.
On the top gainers’ list, Enjin Coin is leading with surging a mammoth gain of 66% in 24 hours, followed by CVX’s 22% spike. On the losing side, DEXE has declined 8% and MANTRA (OM) is seeing a 7% drop.
As per CoinMarketCap data, the global crypto market cap today sits at $2.74 trillion with a 24 hour trading volume of $67.54 billion.
