Fartcoin (FARTCOIN) Leads the Latest Meme Coin Charge, Surging 18%

Fartcoin (FRT/USD) price is up 17.94% in the 24 hours to 12:25 ET, extending recent gains as the meme coin token continues to heat up. It is now trading at $1.54, extending its blistering recovery from December lows.

At its lows, Fartcoin fell to lows of $0.32 on December 14, and it is now up more than 375% from these lows.

Earlier this week, Fartcoin broke out of a multi-week range, with Kook Capital saying that new all-time highs are now imminent.

Meanwhile, Altcoin Sherpa is predicting a move to at least $2 on the new leg of the rally.

Major exchanges are also being urged to list Fartcoin by RookieXBT, who says that its metrics outperform traditional KPIs used by exchanges to decide on new listings.

"It baffles me why major exchanges aren't listing Fartcoin yet. Pay attention to what matters. Fartcoin has:

According to Coinglass data, Fartcoin liquidations over the past 24 hours total $4.4 million, with short liquidations making up the vast majority of the total at $3.7 million. This comes as traders were largely caught out by the sudden rally in Fartcoin.

It is also the most liquidated coin over the past 24 hours.

At the same time, Fartcoin open interest rose by 20% in a single day to $702.09 million, at last check, to highlight the strong interest in the meme coin.

Crypto trader CRG is also highlighting the "organic growth" of Fartcoin.
