Neiro Acquires the Exclusive License to the Neiro Intellectual Property from Atsuko Sato

Neiro, the community-driven token aiming to embody the spirit of positivity and decentralisation within crypto, has secured the exclusive license to the Neiro intellectual property from Atsuko Sato, the owner of Kabosu, the iconic Shiba Inu dog behind the Doge meme - crypto's original memecoin and one of its most recognizable cultural landmarks.

The development follows a decisive vote by the Own The Doge DAO, where Neiro received 92% support from members to gain the rights to the memecoin.

Atsuko personally approved the decision after engaging in discussions with both candidates to ensure alignment with Neiro's values of community, authenticity, and philanthropy.

Kabosu's story began in 2008 when she was rescued from a shelter. In 2013, Sato began posting photos of Kabosu on her blog, which later went viral.

Dogecoin was launched in 2013, quickly gaining popularity for its playful Shiba Inu mascot and community-driven nature. It was also one of the first tokens to be listed on Binance, currently the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange.

Dogecoin's journey has seen it raise millions for charity, travel to space with SpaceX, and be mentioned by the US Congress.

After the passing of Doge, Kabosu has continued to bring joy to millions around the world.

Earlier this year, the Doge DAO voted on which token should inherit the mantle of Doge and continue its legacy.

With the IP now fully acquired by Neiro, the next stage will see the creation of a licensed NFT collection to be sold in support of Atsuko and charitable causes.
